Students can choose from one of five (5) select high schools that offer outstanding Career and Technical Education programs of study as well as many Advanced Placement and other specialized programs. Students that live within the designated transportation zone of the school that they choose will receive transportation.

Bonanza HS

Bonanza High School, founded in 1976, is a public, urban school in Clark County School District with an enrollment of 2,100 students in grades nine through twelve. The student body and faculty represent a diversity of ethnic and racial backgrounds. The school has 97 certified professional staff members, most with a master’s degree. CTE certificate programs are available in the areas of Animation, Business, Furniture/Cabinetry, Graphic Design, Health Science w/EMT, Theater Technology, Video Production, and the state's original Fire Science Academy. A dual enrollment program allows students to earn up to six (6) college credits from the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Chaparral HS

Chaparral High Schools Select School programs include Advanced Placement, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Mariachi, Marketing, Mechanical Technology, and Theater Technician. Students attending Chaparral are offered a wide spectrum of courses in all major academic subjects that provide the academic, social, and leadership experiences necessary to build a holistic child for postsecondary success. Chaparral is dedicated to providing a safe learning environment that promotes academic excellence, character development, and responsible citizens. Mojave HS

The Mojave Select School Program offers five extremely relevant programs that are geared towards providing students with pertinent knowledge for some of today’s most popular careers.  Mojave offers a three year Medical Program that includes hands-on examination skills.  The Video Production Program explores individual talents through the lens, including broadcasting essentials. The Sports & Entertainment Program addresses critical facets of today’s fast-paced world of business.  The Culinary Arts Program delves into many aspects of the culinary field.   Visit for more information.

Silverado HS

At Silverado High School students can complete the Career and Technical Programs of their choice and still participate in a full spectrum of activities including NIAA athletics, art, band, choir, dance, orchestra, theater, honor society, as well as AP and honors courses. Students who successfully complete a three-year CTE strand, pass a career-readiness exam and a skills exam will receive industry certification, a special seal on their diploma, and college credits. Silverado offers Computer Science, Culinary, Forensic Science, Graphic Design, Pharmacy, Photography, Robotics, Sports Marketing, Theater Tech, and Video Production. Western HS
